I promised to continue, didn´t I?
Remember my mom? Of course, you do. Well, the saga continues…
My people always say ˝Trouble comes in threesomes˝, and they are never wrong, believe me.
Pay attention and you will see for yourself, I promise you.
First, my dishwasher died, then my mom broke a hip (not that is comparable of course), and yesterday my car died too.
After a month of waiting for the spare part my dishwasher finally came alive. No one was happier than me now! You understand me for sure. You know how they say: ˝ When one loses something, the one finally understands its value ˝.
But, the most interesting part is that a dishwasher repaired my husband. If someone told me years earlier that he would do such a thing I would laugh and said ˝No way˝. You see, he is an electrical engineer who dealt with telecommunications and for years he was in a high position managing a big company. He never tried to repair anything because he never had time to do so. A couple of years ago he retired from that position, changed his job and now he has expanded his interests. Working from home allows him to deal with things he didn´t have enough time for before. This also includes repairing appliances around the house. Of course to made a mess in the apartment leaving me to unravel the mess endlessly, but the final result is counting, is it not?
First, he repaired a refrigerator, then an oven, and now a dishwasher. Shouldn´t I be proud of him?
I remember the day he got his degree when his uncle asked him: ˝Well son, congratulations, but tell me something…Can you repair the TV or the stove for instance?˝
My husband said ˝Uncle, I am an engineer, not a technician, we do the projects and so…˝
Uncle rolled his eyes and retorted ˝Than, my son, your diploma is in vane˝. You can imagine how angry was he.
Time goes by and he understands now what his uncle meant.
He can´t fix my mom, that falls on me, but I was so happy to tell him that my dead car was waiting for him! I imagine that he is very happy about it!
If you are asking yourself about my mom’s condition, it is the same.
If you are asking yourself about my condition, don´t, just pray for my sanity.
Of course, it will be continued…
Thanks love, I am always here for you!
Humorously described “tragic” events with a happy ending. I enjoyed and imagined the described situations😊
